Veterinary Technician

Do you love working with animals, being part of a team, and enjoy making a positive impact? We are looking to hire an experienced veterinary technician (grooming experience is a huge plus!).

Working at Compassionate Care Veterinary Hospital includes loving on and providing a safe, happy & efficient environment for clients and their fur-babies. At CCVH, we strive to ensure that our clients are welcomed into a positive atmosphere and feel good knowing that their babies are being well taken care of.

Some of the veterinary technician responsibilities include assisting with surgeries, administering medications, caring for hospitalized animals, performing dental cleanings, organizing laboratory samples, and educating clients.

Our veterinary technicians are expected to interact with dogs and cats of different sizes and breeds. They assist with baths and comb outs; cleaning and disinfecting rooms; picking up and/or scooping kennels or play areas; feeding, watering, and administering medications; and observing playtimes.

All of our team members are expected to work at a fast pace, in an organized manner and are responsible for greeting and interacting with clients to make sure they feel welcomed and confident in bringing their fur-babies to CCVH.

Must be able to work alternating weekends and holidays.

Starting pay will be determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, professionalism, experience, and reference feedback.
